Departments are used to divide the content between different departments or locations. Content created or uploaded by one department cannot be seen by another department without being shared.
If some content in one department is set to play on a device in another department, and the content is not shared with the department the device is in, then the device will not play any content.
Due to low demand and a high number of support cases based on wrongly shared content, ComQ is considering removing this feature from the system.
Add/edit departments
To add a department press the green «Add New Department» button.
To edit an existing department press «Edit» in the Action menu.
There is only one field to edit in departments:
«Department Title» – The name/title of the department. It must be a unique name.
